ABOUT BLUBRIDGE

           BluBridge Center is established in 2019, to provide space for children to learn how to learn, improve communication skills, reduce problem behavior, and acquire adaptive skills. Our vision is to be a safe crossroad for children with developmental disabilities as they learn how to effectively participate in the community.

           At BluBridge Center, we provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) / Verbal Behavior Therapy; which have been widely researched and proven scientifically to be effective in helping children reach their full potential.

           Our objective is to enhance the quality of life for each and every child so everyone can reach their full potential. Our behavior therapists are not just equipped with qualified training to foster a fun learning environment for the children, but also to generate data-taking effectively. In order to maintain positive change, BluBridge Center also provides parents training as an essential part of the therapy.

ABA Therapy is widely acknowledged as a secure and valid treatment to bring meaningful and positive changes in an individual’s behavior, especially for children with autism.

INTENSIVE ON GOING TRAINING

Each of our Behavior Therapists has a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related fields, thus making them well equipped with the knowledge of life span development for the special needs. Additionally, our therapists go through intensive and ongoing training in order to be up to date with the latest scientific methods.

Christy Prawira, MBA, M.A, BCBA

Chief Clinical Director

Since 11 y.o, she has been wanting to help special needs children in Indonesia but had no idea how.

She then flied to California and took Communication Sciences and Disorders at BIOLA University. She continued her study at Baylor University and received a master degree in ABA.

Her experiences include working with children with disability in clinical, home, and school settings. She is passionate about doing teachers and parents training.

Today, she is one of the few Board Certified Behavioral Analysts (BCBA)s in Indonesia.

 

Monica Sutanto, S. Psi., M.Psi., Psikolog

Clinical Director & Psychologist (East Branch)

She graduated summa cum laude with a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Surabaya University. She has 6 years working with children and spend the last few years with special needs children. She loves working with children because for her every children have their uniqueness. She believes that every children always have potential to grow up optimally and adjust well to the environment, especially children with special needs. For her, every child deserves the opportunity to learn and be treated fairly. Why do kids love her? Because she is friendly, patient, and a caring person!

 

Audrey Faine, S. Psi., M.Sc.

Special Projects and People Development Manager

As a People and Culture professional with more than 3 years of experience, Audrey is passionate about people and their experiences at work.

Audrey was also a recipient of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s Degree program in Work, Organizational and Personnel Psychology scholarship, which provided her with a global perspective of HR practices through studying in multiple countries. Audrey is committed to leveraging her expertise and knowledge to support Blubridge in creating productive work environments that enable employees to thrive.

 

Maria Resi Prajna Pramudita, S.Pd.

She is known as a cheerful and disciplined person who likes new challenges. She enjoys reading, discussing, and traveling. As an educator, she is accustomed to being responsible to students of various levels. She's grateful for the opportunity to help children with special needs.

 

Vincentia Gladys Djunaidy, M.Psi.

Psychologist (East Branch)

Being a psychologist has been her dream since she was 13. Back then while she was attaining her Bachelor's Degree in Universitas Surabaya, she took a part-time job in a daycare center and found so much joy in working with children.

She attained her Master's Degree in Clinical Child Psychology from Universitas Indonesia. She's passionate about helping children/adolescents with developmental problems, ADHD, emotional and behavioral problems, and also anxiety-related cases

 

Jelite Prenggo Putri, S.Psi.

Since graduated from Brawijaya University then continue master degree as clinical psychologist at Surabaya University (UBAYA), also after taking cases of children with intellectual disabilities in her master degree she felt that was something fun because she can help children to develop their abilities and see changes or developments in children.

He graduated from Widya Mandala Surabaya's Psychology and have been working with kids since he's still in college.

He believes that kids should be treated with tender love and that kids are like a fertile soil and it is our job to plant good seeds and nurture it properly so that one day they can bloom gracefully and be a good member of the community.

He's known as being playful, patient, eager to learn, and he also tries to understand what's going on in people's mind which helps him greatly in his line of work.

He attained his bachelor degree of psychology in UBAYA. He has been a teacher for children with special needs for almost five years. He is also a licensed Registered Behavior Technician from Autism Partnership Foundation.

He has always been interested in working clinical psychology problem, to the outcast especially children. He believes that everyone can be part of the community, especially children with special needs, it’s just that people need to learn to understand and to communicate with them.

CENTER-BASED THERAPY

At our center, we provide a 1-on-1 intensive ABA therapy to learn a wide array of essential skills in a structured environment. The therapy emphasizes on language, behavior and social skills. We can help your child adapt to a new routine, such as preparation before going to school.

home therapy

TeleTHERAPY

Our BCBA and/or Behavior Therapist will implement treatments to teach the children a range of skills that are used in their daily lives. For instance, mastering toilet training or dressing up. Also working on skill acquisition and problem behavior reduction at home.

Consultation

Consultation with BCBA or psychologist to see what is happening with your child. In the consultation session, BCBA or psychologist will talk more with the parents (as the representative of the child), especially for children under seven years old, and/or having trouble with communication. If the child is seven years old or above and do not have any communication problem, the consultation session will be divided into 50% with parents, and 50% with the child.

Behavior therapy, that helps children to adapt in their social environment, that includes increasing communication skill, cooperation skill (i.e. taking turns playing with friends), listening skill, staying on topic, and using non-verbal languages ​​appropriately.
